I am currently successfully using my professional experience at my present employer, METRO Cash & Carry Österreich GmbH, in the Audit & Security, Helath & Safety and Crisis Management departments.
My classic tasks include audits, safety inspections, drawing up and monitoring measures plans, many topics relating to occupational health and safety and crisis management.
For me, management, especially crisis management, also means breaking new ground. Dealing with unpleasant, often difficult topics. Asking uncomfortable questions, pointing out weak points and - above all - initiating improvements. This does not always meet with open "arms" or even approval. But this is the only way we can prevent crises and prepare ourselves for them in the best possible way.
